1.    Demonstration and Introduction (Eric & James)

The different versions of Photoshop

Photoshop 7 – UBC Labs, Photoshop CS4 – most recent version

What is Photoshop Used For

Demonstration of layers palette and liquefy filter.

Discussion: “What kind of project could you imagine using Photoshop for?”

Show video – model makeover

Explanation of Poster Assignment (Jason) – see Today’s Project

2.    Picture Taking Time

Hand out cameras.
Everyone has 35 minutes to accumulate photos to use to make their posters.

3.    Meet Up and Upload Photos

Give everyone 10 minutes to get settled, and upload their photos.

4.    Technique Instruction
We’ll lead everyone through the following techniques:
•    Text (Kerry)
•    Crop (Tim)
•    History Brush (James)
•    Clone Stamp (Eric)
•    Blur (Jason)
5.   Preparation Time

25 minutes to work on poster

6.    Show Time

Walk around and examine our collective wisdom
